December Card Kit

It's that time again... oh actually I am LATE with this reveal! Sorry girls. It has been hectic with the holidays and being the procrastinator that I tend to be...well... you get it... Anyway.... here is my reveal for the December card kit that was sent to me by Mara. What a cute kit! I think the little keys are my favorite. I'm still thinking of things I could use them for. Thank you Mara!

Check out what these other crafty girls created:

Snowflake Mini Album

Isn't this album cute? I just love this chipboard snowflake album. It's actually the second one I've made in the past couple of years. There are so many ways I can think to decorate it. For this one I used fabric for the covers, papers and embellishments from Pink Paislee's "City Sidewalks" line and of course glitter, stickles and Inka gold metallic rub. I am so lovin that stuff! I created this album for a class I taught at Posh Scraps. It was a great group of girls and a lot of fun!

Make n Takes

These are the cute little gift card holders I created for Posh Scraps Christmas Soiree. Easy peasy and I am so loving the new Inka Metallic Rubs by Viva. Now I want one in every color!

Christmas Past

While searching through my pictures I found a few pages I made last year, It's fun to look back and see how people have changed. Baby girl looks so little in this one! Her hair is sooo long now. Hard to imagine her so little.

This one is from  Christmas 1997! The kids look so young. I can't believe they have kids of their own now. This seems like yesterday.

Christmas Creations

I've been working on creating some things to be displayed as my local scrapbook store. This idea came to me immediately when I saw the plain red IKEA frame. I've been wanting to use my new Santa stamp so I found a cute leather strap with a buckle and an acetate overlay with red numbers (in the clearance section- yay me!) to go with it. A quick coat of white paint, some black ink and there you go. Oh and I do believe in Santa Claus! ;)

I created these two layouts with Melissa Frances papers and die cuts, and buttons from October Afternoon. It seems this year the Christmas color palette is very compatable between companies.

For this little tree I found a half roll of ribbon cording at the thrift store for 50 cents! Great deal seeing I used 5 yds to wrap the styrofoam cone. I strung some more of the buttons from October Afternoon on a piece of twine to create a garland. I simply love the unconventional colors for this little tree. So fun!
